Apr 2022 This is a really peachy museum! We spent an afternoon here while visiting KC. Lots of neat art and very well organized (i.e., Not cluttered like some fine art museums). Benches to sit and enjoy some of the pieces. Portable stools available to acquit around and then y'all can sit and enjoy whatsoever of the pieces. Super friendly and helpful docents. Museum is free, but underground parking (which I recommend) is $12. We spent most of our time at the Plaza level starting with ancient Egypt all the mode through the twentieth century. Wish we could take spent more than time to see information technology all. Written April 29, 2022 This review is the subjective stance of a Tripadvisor fellow member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. Mar 2022 I was lone in every gallery I entered, except for the ambitious staff that followed me and insisted that I wear a mask. Each time I had to explain that I take a medical exemption, the 10th fourth dimension I had to explain myself I left with no plans to EVER return. Shame on them for "following orders" and not questioning the requirement to wear face covering. The Nelson-Atkins is a very nice museum of Art. As expected, the employees were a chip stuffy and non very friendly. Wanted to have lunch in their cafe merely it was airtight due to pandemic.
